I was sitting on a bench on the playground of my granddaughter’s school. The recess bell rang and within minutes the doors opened and small bodies erupted from the building. They went in all directions and began participating in all forms of play.
I started reminiscing about what I did when I was a child. Do you remember those “olden days”? I recall a variety of activities: marbles and jacks, hop-scotch, jump rope, dodge ball, four-square. I’m sure there are many I’ve forgotten.
What did you do when you finally got that little 15 minutes of freedom? Take the poll, leave a comment.

congrats on mastering the poll! I’ve downloaded the plug-in, but I don’t know if I’ll get it set-up in the next few days … not enough “quiet time!”
I was a jacks/hopscotch kind of girl. Unless there was sidewalk chalk, then I’d love to draw.

Hopscotch, marbles and jump rope were big when I was a kid many many moons ago. I can still remember high, low, medium. wavy, walkie, talkie, slowly gravy. well, I think that is it. Pom pom pompadour, mary, mary’s knocking at the door
Ah, such memories! Thanks for bringing them back
